The Testing and Reporting Process
One of our Field Sampling Technicians will complete a thorough investigation of the site and take swab samples from specific areas within the dwelling. A report is prepared upon completion and the swab samples are couriered straight to an independent laboratory for analysis. The whole testing process takes between 45-60 minutes.
The lab returns a forensic analysis of their findings and a comprehensive report based on these finding is compiled and emailed directly to the client within 48-72 hours from the time the samples are received at the lab.
The Australian Government currently sets the ‘acceptable’ level of contamination on surfaces at less than 0.5 μg/100cm² (0.5 micrograms per 100cm²).
We offer two types of testing methods: a Base Composite Test and an Individual Sample Test. Both types are designed to determine the presence or level of methamphetamine residue in a given sample area, usually 100mm², with a detection limit of 0.02 μg per sample.
Who Should Test for Meth?
Our clients range from property owners and investors, real estate agents, local councils and insurance companies to tenants, parents and individuals who want to ensure their existing or potential properties are free from harmful meth residues.
Australia Wide Service
Testing is currently available in the greater Brisbane region only. More regions will be added in the coming months as we intend to expand our business across all other major cities in Australia.
